The subconscious can heal the body just as easily as the conscious mind can. This is one reason that hypnosis and subliminal programming are so popular. Many feel that this is all due to the fact that people want to be able to heal their bodies as quickly as possible, without having to visit a doctor or chiropractor.

In fact, many believe that the subconscious is an extension of the mind. It works in conjunction with the conscious mind, feeding ideas and thoughts into the subconscious. Much of our imaginations come from the subconscious as well. These can actually serve a helpful purpose. This is one reason why some feel that dream interpretation is important.

While it is impossible to measure exactly how the subconscious works, it is believed by many to be an integral part of human life. Sitting down with a piece of paper and a pen and silently writing down ideas can be a great way to get your mind off of its tensions.
