The subconscious is the part of the brain that controls and maintains our thinking, behavior and feelings. It is like a mind that runs your body. The subconscious can heal the body by commanding it to follow your will, believe in you and do things according to your instructions. You have full control of your body until you lose control.

People who are religious find themselves in turmoil sometimes over their beliefs. They are the ones who believe that God will help them. The subconscious is hard core believers and will not waver its hold on your beliefs unless you stop it or contradict your subconscious programming.

You have to get control of your mind so that it will listen to what you want it to do. This does not mean you go around repeating mantras and affirmations over again. You need to find out what your subconscious beliefs are. What are the causes of your unhappiness? What are the conflicts inside you that are preventing you from living the life you really want?

Once you get to know what is blocking you, then you need to block that belief from your mind. Then replace it with a more positive belief. Don't worry, the conscious mind is aware of the fact that its beliefs are contrary to those it wants to believe. It has a choice to act upon its beliefs.

Take for example the death of a loved one. The subconscious is still grieving the loss. It may feel that this loss is permanent and never to be avenged. But, as time goes by, the subconscious is able to remember the good times that it had with that person. The grief-stricken subconscious realizes that the loss was not permanent.

The subconscious also knows when its beliefs are conflicting with those it wants to believe in. At this point, the mind does not have any choice but to erase the erroneous beliefs. If you continue to focus on the problem after it has been erased, you will only aggravate the problem. Focus on something else to relieve your stress, anger or sadness.

When you focus on someone who hurts you, such as a spouse, you are inadvertently healing them. The same holds true when you are angry with someone. The anger only feels real to the subconscious. The anger causes an imbalance within you. And, this imbalance can cause physical manifestations in your physical body.

The subconscious can heal the body when you use it to focus on positivity instead of negativity. When you focus only on the positives, you send a signal to the subconscious to reverse the negativity that is harming your life. After time, the subconscious begins to respond as if the negative event never occurred. It will begin to heal itself.

When you set goals for yourself and you implement them daily, the subconscious can heal the body. Goals give you something to work toward. They also keep you focused on reaching them. By implementing goals, you create a path for your own growth and happiness.

When you feel miserable, remember the things about your life that is positive. Think about how you are feeling. Is there anything about yourself that is negative? Until you examine your life and yourself critically, you will continue to be miserable.

The key to changing a habit, behavior or outlook is to replace it with one that makes you feel good. Once you make the change, your old behaviors will become second nature. It is at this point that you can allow the positive parts of your life to take over your life. This allows you to enjoy living each day to the fullest.

The subconscious can heal the body when you allow it to. You don't have to push away those things about yourself that are negative. Instead, you just need to look at them deeply and decide if you want to move forward with making changes. Once you make the change, you will find that you will be happier and healthier in more ways than one.
